Who We Are
The Newbold Neighbors Association is a volunteer-run organization made up of residents, property owners, and business owners within our area of interest. The members-in-good-standing elect a governing board consisting of a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and the chairpersons of the committees. There are no paid employees - we are all volunteers.
Between 30 and 50 neighbors meet at the library on a monthly basis to identify and develop community interests, disseminate information, secure needed improvements, and get to know one another.
Many community members also participate in meetings and activities organized by our committees - clean & green, planning & zoning, town watch, community outreach, and fundraising.
Like any group, our members don't always agree on every issue. But the one belief we all share is that a civic group works best when it's run in an open and transparent manner, which is why our general meetings are free, open to the public, and are announced well enough in advance to allow people to plan to attend.
