Our Constitution and By-Laws
The Newbold Neighbors Association incorporated as a 501(c)3 non-profit neighborhood group in 2008. As part of this process, we created a set of by-laws that determine the function of the officers and committee chairs. The document contains information required by the IRS, including boundaries, purpose, governance, meetings, and financial details.
All changes to the by-laws are made by the governing board, and require at least 14 days notice to the general membership, followed by a vote of the general membership at a general or special meeting. The changes must pass the vote with at least two-thirds of the present eligible members approval.
